Our client Immedica Pharma Germany is expanding its commercial capabilities in Germany as a specialized pharmaceutical company focused on rare diseases and niche therapeutic areas. Key Account Manager (m/w/d) Rare Disease

Residence of the job holder:within the southern half of Germany

HCP Network:You are the face towards the HCPs. The therapy is organized through specialized centers. A three-person team covers Germany and regularly visits the respective centers. Conceptual and organizational work is carried out remotely from a home office.​​​​​​​

Employment:Permanent, full-time position.

Main Responsibilities

  • Represent Immedica professionally and promote awareness of its therapeutic solutions among relevant healthcare professionals and institutions.
  • Develop and execute territory and account plans in line with country implementation, brand, and commercial objectives.
  • Achieve agreed sales, activity, and growth targets within the assigned territory.
  • Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including specialists, thought leaders, hospitals, pharmacists, and decision-makers.
  • Support patient identification and diagnostic pathways in collaboration with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Marketing, and other functions.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive intelligence, identify opportunities, and provide actionable field insights.
  • Document activities accurately in CRM, report performance regularly, and support compliant local events, meetings, and trainings.

Qualifications and Experience

  • University degree in Natural Sciences, Pharmacy, Business Administration, Health Economics, or a related field, legal qualification in regarding
  • At least three years of relevant pharmaceutical industry experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Experience in endocrinology and preferably in launching products in rare diseases.
  • Strong knowledge of the German inpatient and outpatient healthcare systems, including regional KV and payer structures; knowledge of Austria is a plus.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, account development, communication, and networking skills.
  • Entrepreneurial, solution-oriented, adaptable, and results-driven mindset, with a strong customer focus.
  • Fluent German and English, knowledge of local marketing and sales regulations, and a valid driver’s license; willingness to travel approximately 75%, including overnight stays.
