As soon as possible we are looking for a
Programme Director (m/f/d) Business Development
- The Programme Director has accountability to deliver high quality projects from initiation to embedding results whilst continuously identifying and converting business development opportunities with new and existing Clients.
- Identify, develop & target new and existing Client business opportunities to achieve
- revenue and contribution targets
- Create and execute business development account plans including objectives,
- timeframes, stakeholders and business development activities
- Execute BD activities to achieve scorecard metrics (Target, Inputs & capabilities)
- Conduct dialogue interactions with prospective clients to understand brand challenges and opportunities for our client to support
- Utilise power of SalesForce to facilitate effective account management with daily update
- Ensure each client communication seeks BD opportunities
- Embed positive experiences & impact of existing projects within clients with NPS scoring with Decision Maker / Executive Sponsor stakeholders >7 by & 65 % response
- Cost control of project work
- Deliver the revenue and contribution targets of PD owned accounts
- Embed RM core values and culture of BD across project teams
- Transition new projects to the OPEX team and remain as the client contact through completion of the project
- Ensure all staff have annual performance reviews
- Hold coaching sessions monthly with line reports
- Operational excellence (OPEX)
- Lead the delivery of the OPEX Blueprint to achieve >target performance metrics for call rate, meeting room rate and call quality
- Conduct OPEX health check with sign off for all projects set ups and every 6 months for all live projects
- Identify cost efficient recruitment channels for operational personnel in line with project timelines and replace within 4-weeks for ops vacancies with consistent balance between
- salary & bonus
- Deliver OPEX through effective coaching and line management of Business Leaders
The successful candidate will be an individual with recognised academic qualifications and a
proven employment record with experience in pharmaceuticals sales. The candidate will:
Be an accomplished leader and coach, likely to have >4 years sales management, marketing leadership and preferably pharma service experience
- Ambitious, tenacious and entrepreneurial with the ability to work independently as well as a good team player
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills with the gravitas to deliver results to senior leaders with high standard presentation skills
- Be experienced in analysing data, making recommendations and compiling reports. Be able to credibly present themselves to senior leaders in Pharmaceuticals to manage existing projects and identify new business opportunities
- Be able to work across several projects at the same time with robust organisational skills
- Interpersonal awareness (to interact, challenge, advise and deliver)
- Networking ability (at high levels, and be credible when interacting with senior pharma
- staff)
- Level-headed (to stay calm under pressure, prioritise and deliver)
- Sense of humour (to help diffuse potentially tense situations)
- Competent using MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint and other general office software
