Assignments:
- German Pricing & Reimbursement Strategy: Lead development and execution of pricing, reimbursement, and market access strategies aligned with the German healthcare landscape, local objectives, and global directives.
- AMNOG & Innovative Pricing Models: Drive strategy and evidence generation for AMNOG value dossiers and GKV-SV price negotiations.
- Operational Pricing & Finance Partnership: Oversee end-to-end operational pricing, including paybacks and statutory rebates. Collaborate with Finance on gross-to-net forecasting, accruals, and financial planning.
- Brand Strategy & Sales Enablement: Serve as a key cross-functional brand team member. Train the sales force on local reimbursement aspects for Stemline products and translate health economic data into actionable field tools.
- Cross-Functional Value Proposition Development: Work with global and local Medical, Commercial, and HEOR teams to develop payer-centric value propositions tailored to G-BA, GKV-SV, clinicians, pharmacists, and policymakers.
- Market Shaping & Policy Anticipation: Monitor shifts in German healthcare policy (e.g., AMNOG reforms, Krankenhausreform) and proactively communicate relevant developments.
- Strategic Payer & Stakeholder Engagement: Build trust-based relationships with national and regional stakeholders (KOLs, sickness funds, regional KVs) and negotiate win-win solutions that balance patient benefit with commercial potential.
- Hospital & Health System Optimization: Present value, cost-saving strategies, and budget impact models to health systems and hospital administrations to support regional access.
- Advocacy Integration: Support disease advocacy initiatives with KOLs, patient organizations, and health authorities to reinforce the broader access strategy.
- Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to local legal frameworks, industry codes (e.g., FSA), and internal compliance policies across all activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of strategic market access experience in pharma or consultancy (oncology experience preferred), with a relevant scientific degree (MSc in health economics an advantage).
- Deep expertise in German healthcare, reimbursement processes, pricing rules, and calculations, paired with a strong healthcare network. Proven ability to assess and critique reimbursement models with high analytical rigor.
- Combines strategic vision with hands-on execution and strong interpersonal skills to build effective internal and external relationships. Experience in dynamic, lean environments is a plus. Disease area expertise in oncology preferred; rare disease experience desirable.
- Fluent in English and German, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
